The Good & the Bad - what did you like best? What least?
The three weeks I spent in Berlin Villa were some of the best weeks of my life! The people there were just amazing, everyone was so friendly and I felt so welcome from the moment I arrived. The teamers were absolutely great- really lovely, hospitable, and most of all, fun! The classes were really good for the most part and my German definitely improved. On top of all that, the course is situated in one of the most incredible cities in the world, I loved everything about Berlin and we got loads of freedom to explore it too.I think one of the best things about this course is that you get a chance to meet people from so many different countries and cultures; I now have amazing friends from all over the world! I am so so glad I decided to do this course- es hat mir viel Spass gemacht!!
Your recommendations for other students
If you're going to do this course, I think you should go with an open mind and don't be afraid to speak a bit of German in shops or museums etc, even if you're afraid you'll sound silly, the Germans are really lovely and willing to make a big effort to speak with anyone who's trying to learn. I would also say go for at least three weeks- two is too little! I can't recommend this course highly enough, if you want to improve your German and have an amazing holiday, do this course! Du wirst es nicht bedauern!
