The Good & the Bad - what did you like best? What least?

I felt respected over my background, race, religion, etc. At last, thank you GLS for hosting this experience for me.

What I found appealing the most to me throughout the camp was how dedicated the teachers were to their job and as the outcome, how well they had turned their teaching into the perfect opportunity to get accustomed to the german language. This is evident in how they allowed themselves to only speak and communicate in German. Additionally, I felt incredibly encouraged and i influenced to further my language studies by fellow attendees, the workers, etc.

On the other side of all, what I liked the least was that every bathroom did not provide a jet shower for attendees which could have been perplexing for those who are more accustomed to using jet shower instead of tissues.

Your recommendations for other students

I recommend other students taking their classes seriously since the summer camp is not meant to be taken advantage of (especially when your stay is for less than a week). The other recommendation is to not be reluctant to socialise with the others even if their backgrounds are beyond where they are from. They have to believe that everything is going to work out, as long as you are abiding by the directive, polite, and presenting yourself in the best light, you‘re safe.
