The Good & the Bad - what did you like best? What least?
I'm writing this for my now 10 & 12 year old sons. They were 9 and 11 when they stayed for 2 weeks this summer. They enjoyed the overall camp and activities. However, the German level wasn't high enough for my sons. This would have been ok if the classroom would have been in control and still a fun learning environment. My older son told me that it was not, especially the first week. Other kids were allowed to use their iPhone constantly. This created a terrible situation. iPhones & iPads should be under strict time control!
Your recommendations for other students
This is more a recommendation for the leadership team. Please do implement strict rules about the usage of technology (iPhone, iPad) etc. I wanted this experience the be great and hopefully enroll my boys for the summer of 2019, but they don't want to. They told me that most kids were only on their iPads and didn't want to play. The counselors had no control over that. Everybody just did what they wanted. Very disappointing after spending so much money for this camp. Please call me so I can give you more details.
