The Good & the Bad - what did you like best? What least?

Dear GLS Team,

I recently completed a two-week German language course at your school and wanted to take a moment to express my appreciation for my teacher, Sabine, my wonderful teacher!

At 71 years old, I joined the beginner-level course with great enthusiasm but soon realized that many of my classmates were a bit more advanced than I was. Sabine, however, was truly exceptional in how she handled this dynamic. She consistently made sure that I was included and able to follow along, always taking extra time to ensure I understood the lessons and could participate fully.

Sabine is a dedicated, thoughtful, and conscientious teacher who genuinely cares about her students’ learning. On several occasions, she stayed beyond class hours to help me and others who needed additional clarification. Her patience, warmth, and professionalism created an encouraging environment that made learning German both enjoyable and effective.

I am very grateful for her effort and commitment - it made my experience at GLS truly special. Teachers like Sabine represent the very best of your program, and I wanted to make sure her excellent work is recognized.
