The Good & the Bad - what did you like best? What least?

I really love that all of the teachers hat I had spoke in German 97% of the time, they only spoke in English to explain something. All of the instructors that I had were enthusiastic, patient, and willing to answer any questions that students had. The I my thing that I didn't like is that a semi-intensive course is not available for levels a and b. I was technically a level a2 but as I've been living in Germany for some time, I had already picked up a lot of the things that the classes were teaching, but not enough to move to the next level. If there had been a semi intensive option, with more hours, I feel that I could have gleaned a lot more.

Your recommendations for other students

Take notes! And study outside of class. Do more than the homework that the instructor assigns, if possible. Use apps (Duolingo, Memrise, etc.,) in conjunction with taking the classes. And practise, practise, practise!! As a native English speaker, I struggled with a lot of the german pronounciation, but speaking up in class and allowing the teacher to correct me really helped!
